Meet Director Logan Leistikow"HI!"
Logan Leistikow has been on the bleeding edge of entertainment since his TV debut on IFC as "Featured Director" for his College Humor viral videos Mustache Montage and Michael Jordan's Phobia Clinic. Before he knew it he was directing 36 episodes of Tom Green Live, the FIRST live streaming call in talk show -- in 2007 -- long before podcasting and streaming were mainstream! THE YELLOW MIC Leistikow's long-running series The Yellow Mic is another impact point. This man-on-the-street show hosted by Leistikow himself covers notably disparate items: the first ever Streamy Awards red carpet, the picket lines at the 2008 and 2023 Hollywood strikes, the Gears of War 2 Premiere, and even interviewing top tier guests like the late great Looney Tunes (and much more) voice icon Joe Alaskey! INDEPENDENT FILMS The Comedy Garage, a feature documentary about a rag tag group of comedians making their own way, debuted on Hulu, won awards, got accolades, and has become a cultural touchstone. Walton took a hard look at the art of stand-up comedy from a different perspective -- that of an unhoused writer. With a gripping subject and an award winning sound track this film was blessed with an Amazon Prime debut -- only to later get kicked off of Prime for crassness. MAINSTREAM TV WORK In addition to his award-winning independent productions, Leistikow has directed dozens of behind-the-scenes mini-docs (as well as promos) for big brands such as NBC, FOX, Comedy Central, SGPN, and shows including American Idol, Last Comic Standing, Days of Our Lives, Parenthood, Hart of the City, Kevin Hart Presents The Next Level, and many more! TODAY AND TOMORROW Leistikow recently directed Sports Gambling Podcast Network's main title intro sequence, which has preceded hundreds of broadcasts, and is still in use! He is currently building LogesGallery.com (check it out and subscribe!), and his next directorial project is coming VERY soon. Stay tuned! |
